This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who handles it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
Who is responsible for your information
Techaura Automations and Consulting LTD is the data controller for information collected through this website. You can contact us at info@techaurautomations.com or on 0743187157.
What we collect
- Inquiry form. When you use our contact or consultation form we collect your name, business email, company name, the service you are interested in, your project description and, optionally, your budget range.
- Email, phone and WhatsApp. If you contact us directly, we receive whatever you choose to send, along with your email address or phone number.
- Technical data. Our website host may process basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive information in your message.
How we use it
- To read and respond to your inquiry and discuss how we can help.
- To scope, quote and deliver services if you decide to work with us.
- To keep records of our business communications.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Our legal basis
We process your information to respond to your request and take steps you ask for before entering into a contract, because you have given us your consent by contacting us, and for our legitimate interest in running and securing our business.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to operate the website and receive your messages. They process information on our behalf and only for those purposes:
- Formspree, which receives inquiry-form submissions and forwards them to our email.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this website.
- Email and messaging providers, such as our email service and WhatsApp, when you contact us by those channels.
Some of these providers are based outside Kenya, so your information may be processed in other countries. We only use providers that apply appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first and explain what is collected.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for two years from the date of your last contact with us, unless the law requires us to keep it longer or we need it to carry out a contract with you. After that we delete it or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, or stop using it, where we no longer need it;
- object to certain uses of your information, or withdraw consent you gave us.
To make a request, email info@techaurautomations.com. We will respond within the time the law allows. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limiting access to those who need it. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This website is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
